Aeration Service Letter of Understanding

Our aeration equipment penetrates the soil up to four inches deep. If your property includes an irrigation system, underground wiring, piping, or an invisible dog fence, these must be clearly marked at least 48 hours prior to service.

BetterScapes cannot be held liable for any damage unless we are notified in advance and the systems are properly marked. If you prefer us to handle the marking, we offer this service for $99.00. Alternatively, your system's vendor may provide marking services for a nominal fee. We also recommend taking photos of the marked areas for future reference during outdoor projects.

We utilize advanced aeration equipment and certified seeds to ensure optimal results. However, successful germination of newly planted seed depends on adequate watering—either through irrigation or natural rainfall.

In previous seasons, we offered a complimentary reseeding visit in the spring if germination failed due to lack of rain. Unfortunately, due to rising costs in seed, labor, and insurance, we can no longer provide this follow-up service free of charge.

To ensure seed germination, a minimum of ½ inch of water per week is required. If watering is insufficient and the seed does not germinate, we offer a reseeding service at 50% of the original visit cost, which covers labor and seed expenses only.
