A.Delaying or canceling your treatment for the day could move you to the back of the line for this step or whenever we can get back in your neighborhood. If we happen to run out of time for this step, it could be cancelled altogether. We STRONGLY RECOMMEND AGAINST IT as our program is based on timing.
A.Step 5 is a granular application of fertilizer with our unique growing season technology. Step 5 helps the lawn recover from the summer stresses and provides the roots of the lawn essential nutrients they need during the fall growing season.

A.No, Step 5 is a granular application, so there are no mowing restrictions with this step. Feel free to mow right along with us if you'd like.
A.We ask that you maintain 4 inches in height through Step 5 or at least until the end of September. Then you should reduce the height to 3.5 inches.

A.Rain is actually a good thing with this application, since it helps the granules absorb into the soil. If it rains beforehand, our technicians will make a judgment call on-site about whether to apply the step, based on how wet the lawn is. Please don't call to delay treatment just because rain is in the forecast — that's exactly what you're paying us to handle, so trust us to make that call.
A.No, the fertilizer is a granular pellet and will just sit on top of the soil until it rains.

A.Pets can go back on the lawn immediately after this application.
